Happy Thanksgiving! We have a lot (of snow) to be thankful for and it's still coming down. The 2016/17 season kicks off tomorrow, November 25th. The Mt. Rainier Gondola, Green Valley Express and Discovery Chair will be open daily starting Friday. Early season lift tickets are $55 and can be purchased at the ticket window starting at 8:00 a.m. The forecast is calling for heavy snow over the next 24 hours so conditions are shaping up for a great opening in Green Valley.
Bought a new pair of Line Skis, 86cm underfoot. Report to come after we get 36".
I bought 10 passes from Jeff Fiorini for CM. I hope I can use a lot more than that.
2017, I hope to get out of my career of full time work to be a lot more time skier. We'll see what we can get in my "financial planning".

UTAH trip , Dec 27-30, 2015
Stayed at Park Regency, a condo. Maria, Mark and the girls.
First day went to Deer Valley. Not bad. Good visibility and good snow as they had a bunch of snow from the same storms that we got. Groomers. It was in single digits most of the time.
Second Day to Snowbasin.
Had another nice day. Really impressed with SB again. Need to get back there with a lossy.
Last half day at Solitude. Another very good hill. Would like to ski it with a local.
Sophia on board and skis. Really making progress. She is 11 and you can tell she has been on it.
